We all lost an American hero on September 3, 2015. He didn’t win a Nobel Prize or become President. What he could do was serve his country during WWII as a torpedoman on the USS McCall. He could marry and love his wife for 66 years. He could raise 3 kids while working 7 days a week to pay his bills. He could establish a business that is still up and running today by his son and grandson. He was a faithful member of the Lions Club, and received the Chippewa High School Wall of Fame award in 2021. He is remembered, missed, and lives on through his impact on the lives of many.
