On September 28, 2022, Col. Tofie M. Owen, USAF (Ret) of Alexandria, VA, passed away at home surrounded by his family at the age of 85.  Tofie was the eldest child of Tofie and Amelia Owen of Gulfport, MS. He earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a M.S. in Research and Development Systems Management from the University of Southern California and was a Naval War College distinguished graduate. Tofie proudly served his country in the USAF for over 22 years as an Electronic Warfare Officer, completing over 100 missions in Southeast Asia. He is survived by his loving wife of 60, Margaret and a huge family.  A graveside service to honor Tofie's military service will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
